Employment pact for Tunisia
The Hamburg Chamber of Commerce contributed to the success of the employment pact for Tunisia in enhancing the existing cooperation between a public training institution and private companies in the after sales automotive service. In workshops with company representatives and institutional trainers, the existing alternating training with company internships was refined into dual-type training. To that purpose, the official curriculum was split into elements for workplace training and for school instruction. Companies became involved in the process of candidate selection and were attributed the same person for all phases of practical training, allowing for the company to integrate the trainee into its work processes. In cooperation with the Tunisian-German Chamber of Commerce an additional certificate for practical training and a training of trainers were introduced.
